• My first bellydance class with Dolores Matzen in Bristol Tn.
  
• My first ‘real’ performance with my friend Jennifer (Gi-Gi) on Carnival Cruise lines. (Virgin Islands)
  
• My first professional bellydance gig at Bristol Country Club for Casablanca night. (Bristol TN)
  
• Dancing with Nomadic Angel gypsy rock band (Asheville)
  
• Being a founding, performing member of Desert Moon dancers (Asheville) and Eternal Oasis (Triangle area) and currently Colorful Waves bellydance troupe
  
• Being the First bellydancer to perform regularly with live musicians (Group Kilim) at Silk Road Tea House(Chapel Hill).
  
• Writing a bellydance/beauty-related column for The Caravan magazine (Georgia).
  
• Traveling, performing and hanging out in Turkey with Tayyaar Akdeniz, Selim Sesiler and the rest of the gang.
  
• Performing regularly during the "7 Pleasures of the Casbah" summer promotion at Alltell pavilion sponsored by Camel. (Raleigh)
  
• Teaching 150 girl scouts to bellydance during an Exploris event, so they could earn a badge (Raleigh)
  
• Club style bellydance with Layalina nights Mediterranean parties (Triangle).
  
• Being in the same room with or performing in the same shows with my bellydance/musical heros such as Nadia Hamdi, Morroco, Jillina, Dahlena, Sahra Saeeda, Aisha Ali, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Mezmera, Aziz, Dondi, Aziza, and many more!
