Dance and Demo at Dillards- Cary Towne Center - October 4, 2009 Colorful Waves members performed and taught a mini class at Dillards at Cary Town Center celebrating that October is breast cancer awareness month. A portion of their sales went to the Susan Komen foundation.

Carolina Casbah - August 22, 2009 Shahzaadee performed a solo and also danced with her troupe Colorful Waves bellydance at this gala show sponsored by ACCMED. ACCMED (Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers), is a local organization promoting professional bellydance performers and instructors throughout North Carolina.
